Our outstanding history of excellence started in 1924 in Merchantville, New Jersey with Steward Holman, the founder of the company. Today Holman Enterprises is a mega-dealer with car and truck dealerships, a sunroof installation company, two leasing companies, international fleet leasing company, and engine and parts remanufacture company, and a truck up fitting company.
ARI, our international fleet leasing company, is the largest privately held fleet leasing and management organization in the world, specializing in the leasing of automobile and truck fleets to large customers with complex fleet management needs. ARI is 700 employees strong serving the world. We employ approximately 2,800 employees total with approximately 900 in our Southern Operations.
The Model T, Model A, and first V-8 models were introduced during the Depression years. In 1947, the opening of Ft. Lauderdale Lincoln Mercury marked the beginning of the Southern Operations in Florida.
